Biography[]
David Wheeler Ankrum was born on May 2, 1947, in Santa Clara County, California, the son of actor Morris Ankrum and actress Joan Wheeler. He is an actor, writer, producer and manager.
Ankrum was active in television and film in the 1970s -1980s. He was a member of the sketch comedy group "Three and a Half" with Hervé Villechaize, Betty Thomas and David Arkin, and performed at The Hollywood Canteen (1977). He also was the voice of Wedge Antilles in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" (1977).
David has been married to Barbara Ankrum since April 7, 1979. They have two children.
