The Resident Witch is a witch who lives in Salem, Massachusetts. The Resident Witch makes sure the Salem Witch Trials never happen again and is dedicated to protecting the image of the witch. The office of Resident Witch was created by the High Priestess Hepzibah in the year 1692. The Resident Witch may also use witchcraft to protect the innocent mortals accused of being witches and protect themselves from the mortals who cry "Witch". The appointment of the new Resident Witch takes place at the 1970 Witches' Convention.
